Brief Overview
Growing up under the teachings of the Catholic faith I didn't put my faith in Christ until I was 26 years old. I'm thankful to have been discipled so well in my local churches. It's within the local church I've been able to serve in many diverse roles to gain insight into church operations. This experience has stirred my heart to support the healthy operations of the local church. I was blessed with a 25-year career in various levels of management in a privately owned semi-truck dealership organization. I began to sense a call to ministry in 2018. I started at Luther Rice College & Seminary where I graduated in May 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and a Minor in Ministry. For 2 years I served at a large Christian school in Jinja Uganda. I started in an administrative role and transitioned to a Pastors position where I had the honor to serve for 2 year. The Lord used the opportunity in Uganda to sharpen my ministry skills and stir my aspirations to become a Pastor within a local U.S. church. In July of 2023 I was hired to become the Executive Pastor at a large church in Hudsonville Michigan. The unique needs of Grace Community Church required a quick learn of all aspects of policy development, administration, governance, fundraising, church planting and leadership.
What am I looking for?
My heart is to serve as an Executive Pastor. It's heavy on my heart that a Senior Pastor should have the freedom to preach, teach and provide vision for the church. In order to do so he needs a capable leader to handle the administrative aspects of church and lead in the initiatives that guide the vision. The Senior Pastor should also not be burdened with the concern his right hand is looking for an opportunity to be a Senior Pastor himself. This is a role I feel honored and equipped to fill.
Personally, a desire of ours is to move into a family friendly environment that includes ethnic diversity. I hope to provide for my family in such a way that my wife can stay at home or work part time while caring for our children. We feel it's important that she continues to homeschooling our daughter and keep a close eye on how both our kids. We would love for our son to be able to attend a Christian High School.
