1997 - 2021 - Nextran Truck Centers, Atlanta Ga. www.nextranusa.com

Director of Operations, Corporate Director of Service Operations, Regional Director of Service Operations, Service Manager, Shop Foreman and Service Technician. 

At Nextran I oversaw the vetting, hiring, review/development, and releasing of 130+ staff members. I was responsible for development and accountability of budgets in each location with a combined $35 million in annual revenue. I led the strategic planning process for my departments. Notable previous experience involves the development, training and implementation of a unified system wide service process. I was personally enlisted to facilitate the turnaround of several poor performing locations. I lead as the main service representative multiple dealership acquisitions and in a complete business system change.

Executive Pastor

I have lead from the second chair in all manors of church operations. My main role is to lead our staff and support the Lead Pastor. In my time at Grace I have helped to bring clarity to the leadeship organization of the elder board, staff and comittees. I developed many process's to assure proper administrative functions as we continue to grow. Major projects have included a building initiative and church planting. Outside of my role of XP I also teach in various class environments. 

2021 - 2023 - Amazima Ministries - Jinja, Uganda www.amazima.org

Pastor, Staff Life

I started within the administrative team. My role was to use my broad experience in management, project development and organization to create continuous improvements. After creating change in many areas such as communication, asset management and financial procedures the ministries capacity for projects ended. This opened up an opportunity to join our Staff Life Department. As a Pastor in Staff Life was a part of a team that's responsible for teaching and caring for the 300+ staff members. My responsibilities included teaching Sunday sermons on a rotation. I lead the development and teaching of our students disciple makers club and take the lead on many projects for our Head of Staff Life.

2021 - 2023 - Bethlehem Bible Church Jinja, Uganda www.bereanchurchga.com

Teacher, Volunteer 

Bethlehem is a network of house churches in Jinja Uganda. We used our house as one of the sites to meet at weekly.  We aim to develop Ugandan men to be qualified elders able to plant other churches throughout Uganda. I have the pleasure be on a preaching rotation with three other men.

Other current ministry work

2021 - 2023 - Suubi Children's Ministry - I was a board member and active leader at Subbi Children's Ministry. Subbi helps share the gospel, build relationships and provide for some needs of vulnerable children in a local village. 

Aletheia Pastors Training - I had the pleasure of teaching pastors in various Ugandan cities on a monthly basis. I was also blessed to travel to Tanzania to teach the outline in a week long intensive. I have currently assisted in teaching over 70 pastors in Uganda and 35 in Tanzania.   

Other ministries - I have one Ugandan man I personally disciple one on one. My wife and I teach a 12- week class for seriously dating, engaged and newly married couples.

Teacher, Leader & Volunteer

At Berean I led small groups, taught topical studies and served as head of security when our Pastor was killed in a car accident. Our only other full time pastor took over with no Elders and no other full-time Pastors on staff. I was served our new Senior Pastor in many ways. I was able to preach on occasion, lead projects, council members and consult on many issues. I led the bylaw changes and efforts on how to develop and install our first elders. While being trained to be a part of our first elder team I also developed training for our small group leaders and missions teams. In my time at Berean Bible Church, I was able to go on mission trips to Brooklyn, New York twice, once as a team member and once as the team leader. I led the Membership Matters class and membership process.

Teacher & Volunteer

At Brook Hills I was fortunate to serve under Godly mentors that helped me to grow in my teaching. Christy and I had a passion for those young in relationship. We were mentored and took over for a couple that taught through in-depth training for new couples. While learning in these ways, I was also able to travel on mission trips to Indonesia and Belize. I was nominated to be an Elder but was not ready at the time. I was fortunate enough to begin a mentoring relationship with our Executive Pastor. This led to an opportunity to have two one on one discipleship relationships. He also invited me to serve for almost three years on the Personnel Ministry Team. This team was a group of Elders, staff and lay people that worked as a group to deal with all Pastoral staff hiring, termination and discipline.

Volunteer

I was asked to lead in our small group in many ways. I proceeded through Evangelism Explosion training to the point of being a trainer. I was able to experience my first mission trip to El Salvador.
